I think Alabama would be the best state to live in - Question was if all the states were to become their own countries what state would be none dependent to survive.  Alabama had all the natural resources then all others.

California produces the most agricultural products in total.  Other states, like wheat in Kansas, are leaders in certain crops.

California is now the biggest dairy state over Wisconsin, but Wisconsin still has more cows per acre than California.
