at 14 you can not be picky,  fast food is the best option and largest employer of minors.

i am from the US where it is legal to work at 14, i don't even know if it is legal to be gainfully employed in canada at 14.

Yeah...there aren't that many restaurants that would hire kids under the age of 16..sorry.
