  1. Though players "choose" which positions they may be good at from the start, your coaches will ultimately decide how to use you best. TE and LB/DE are basically doppelgangers of one another so you probably won't go wrong with either. Besides, your practices will split with offense, defense and special teams any way so you'll get your chance to try a variety.

  2. If you are able to catch the ball and in the same time you are quick and you like tackling, so my advice is safety if you lose weight !

But TE is also a solution. So you'll play both on the offense and on the defense in your high school team. You also could be a good explosive lineman.

  3. Inside linebacker on a 3-4 defense you would be good on the blitz good on the run stop and maybe good on the pass protection (that's more an IQ question)

  4. Defensive end, it sounds like it would be perfect for you

  5. get a little taller and play TE cause the coaches look at the biggest guys that can catch run and block mostg importantly so you could probally be a wide receiver

  6. with having all of those physical gifts,I would suggest while still young try to play as many  positions you can. as you get older your coaches will nail down what position you are best at. if you are really good and go into college or nfl, the more positions that you are good at betters the chance you have of making the team. especially in the nfl, if you are say a TE, if you are as talented, fast, strong and have as good hands as another guy trying out for TE, what can make the difference of you being chosen ( and having a really huge paycheck) could be because you can play other positions, whereas most guys have only worked on one position.

  7. Can you pass?  You're big, strong, fast.  You could be a dynamic QB.  Otherwise TE, Fullback, Defensive end or linebacker.
