I live in AZ, I get confused. I have a phone appt at 10:00 MOUNTAIN TIME.

What part of Arizona you're in makes a difference.  Most of Arizona doesn't observe Daylight Saving Time.  Unless you're on the Navajo Indian Reservation, this time of year (while DST is in effect) you are one hour behind Mountain Time.

So if your phone appointment is at 10:00 Mountain Time (and the person setting the appointment isn't in Arizona), it'll be at 9:00 your time.  If you're on the Navajo Reservation, it'll be at 10:00.
