I was pregnant with triplets but we unfortunately lost one. I would love to get a tattoo on my wrist that symbolises my three babies...any ideas?

its clearly important so i say go for it...anwyays, how about:

    3 stars?

    3 crosses?

    or! 3 hearts?

how about like, ok, you know those little angel cherub things, how about 3 of them?

  2. three dots D:

  3. I am so sorry to hear that.

What about getting 3 balloons and one flying away?

you would have to find a good artist so that it doesn't look childish bit i have seen balloons done before that looked pretty kool.

    Good luck!

  4. Sorry for your loss, but I'm sure there are more way commemorate your children than a tattoo, but if you insist upon marking yourself like a hideous biker, try three doves intertwined around an olive branch. Or three doves flying around the sun or something like that. Its all bibley and whatnot.

  5. if u know the s*x of ur babies, u can have the male & female signs linked together in some way

  6. This is a very personal tattoo so it is probably not a good idea to ask strangers for what you should permanetly put on your body.  Remember there is no rush.  I would think about you and your children and try and come up with something meaningful to you all.  You might have to wait til your children are a little older, then you will see that they have a fav animal, or word or sport or place etc.  Then you use that to create a tattoo.  This way it has extra meaning to it.  I mean yes you could get 3 hearts or stars or dots or doves or whatever have you, but I think it would be better to wait til you have something that means something really special.  I mean if they get a little older and fall in love with flowers, then you could get 3 flowers, one not bloomed or something.  Or if they fall in love with frogs or something.  It could be anything but it should really be something that means something not just hearts or stars for the sake of getting something. Like I said, there is no rush, they will forever be your kids.  Good Luck!

  8. I would have a concern about the reminder to your, now, twin children once they are old enough to understand what has happened to their brother, or sister.  This might, also, cause people who don't know what has happened, to ask you if there's a reason for your tattoo and, depending upon where or when the question is asked, could cause you, or someone else, to become very distressed.   At this time, you might want to have your tattoo in a place not so visible and, later, wherever you decide is best.   Sorry about your baby - it's difficult to handle joy and grief at the same time.
