What Things Need Upgrading To Run Sims 2 And In 09 Sims 3?

I have:

Intel Pentium D Processor 2.8 Ghz

1024 MB RAM

ATI Radeon X1550 512 MB Graphics Card

Windows XP Media Centre Edition 2005 SP2

Not Bothered About Upgrade Costs

  1. that'll run sims 2 at max no-problem.

    sims 3, I'm not sure yet, but buy a intel core 2 duo 3.0ghz wolfdale. theyre ridiculously cheap right now... also get an NVIDIA graphics card for gaming... a LOT more raw power. I reccommend the 9800gtx if you have room in your tower (it's a beast)

    also upgrade to 4gb ram. you can get ddr2 ram for VERY cheap right now. I reccommend G-skill.
