What Thought leaves you with a sense of futility ? ?

The thought that no one gets out of life alive.

The fact that I have lost practically all of the loved ones in my life through one tragedy or another. (My wife, my children, my brother, my parents and grandparents and my two best friends...all in the past few years) AND that either they are gone forever or I have to wait for my own demise before seeing them again. I'm not about to do anything to hurry that...  was just saying. I said "I do" once and meant it. So, I won't remarry. I lost everything I worked my whole life for trying to save my wife's life. She was in a coma for a long time...long after the insurance ran out. I have no desire to start over... rebuilding what once was. I'm not old but don't have the heart to do it all over again. I'd like to just sail away, maybe help rebuild the Gulf Coast or perhaps some missionary work overseas. But I don't have a sailboat anymore so .... there ya go.

Don't worry, I'll figure something out.

Similarly, when you just broken up and you could never get back with that person, yet you still love that person so so much.

Trying to give a definitive answer on Yahoo Answers, knowing that many someones will come along and ask the exact same question 1,000 times afterwards, without ever trying to search and see if the question has been answered before.

Then again, some sections have nothing to do with answers whatsoever, just forums for rambling discussions to take place since some people don't actually want answers.
