  1. Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand- Because it illustrates how valuable a person can be.

Ishmael by Daniel Quinn- Because it reminds us that humans are part of nature too.

Dune by Frank Herbert- Because I want some escapist reading if I can only pick three books.

  2. The Bible tops the list.

The next one would be Michael Crichton's "State of Fear."  It illustrates all too clearly how people can be so narrow-minded and singular in their beliefs, and how they are willing to resort to covert actions and deceit that end up in death and destruction to further those beliefs.

Finally, Kurt Vonnegut's short story "Harrison Bergeron" should be required reading for every high school student in this country.  This story shows what happens when the ideal of life being fair and all people being truly equal is taken too far.

  3. Too many to choose from but one book is almost a sure thing, whether you follow it or not:

    The Bible

  4. the Bible top the list

    to kill a mocking bird

    a christmas story

  5. Twilight

    Eclipse

    Breaking Dawn

  6. To Kill a Mockingbird - to teach tolerance and diversity

A Christmas Carol - to teach forgiveness and self-improvement

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - because we all need some humor in our lives!

  7. Breaking dawn, twilight and eclipse for sure
