  2. Whenever they tell you. It is a strange time known as  "Sparrow's f**t"

  3. Depends on what you are doing that day...usually in the 5 o'clock range.

  8. It all depends on the branch of service you are referring too as well as what is on the training schedule for that day. If lights go at 2100 that day then you will be waking up at 0500. Recruits get a required 8 hours of sleep each night. Although, You may not get the full 8 hrs because there may be some things you still need to finish up doing (working on uniforms/firewatch).

I just got a letter from Parris Island TODAY about just that.  My daughter has been there a little over two weeks.  She wrote down a typical day's schedule in her letter today and said they wake them up at 4:30 AM.  Not sure about the other branches, but in case you were wondering about the USMC, there you go.


  10. Depends on what the training involves that day...it is usually 0400 or at the latest 0500.  Sometimes it can be earlier.

  11. When they come in screaming at the top of their lungs and banging trash cans around... get the sleep you can... dont talk... go to sleep.
