What To Do To A Swollen Toe?

i have a cricket game on sunday

and my big toe is REALLY swollen but im going to give it a go and play on it

and is there any thing i cud do

only thing is its my big to on the joint so u cant bandage it

  1. Try the icing treatment for a couple of days but if it doesn't go down then I suggest you don't play.  Consider what will happen if a ball hits it!


  2. Put some ice in a plastic bag and wrap it around the swollen toe it will certainly ease the pain. I have seen a lot of basketball players do that when they get hurt/

  4. Dip in in ice cold water.

    Or put an ice pack on it.

    Rub some Iodex or Hirudoid ointment.

    Will help.

  7. Ice it 30 mins on and 30 mins off.Keep off of it and elevate it,you can also call your Dr for advice.
