I am leaving for ATL in 7 days and am staying from the 28th to the 10th of July. Along with going to the beach i am also attending a Tom Petty concert =) So any suggestions on a packing list? Oh and when should I start packing. I mean I don't want to pack to early or to late! Thanks!

  1. I would start packing a few days before you leave and what you can do is a few days before you start packing, make a list of everything that use on a daily basis.  Then, as you pack those things, cross them off your list so you know you have them.

I'm not sure what the weather's like there, I'm sure it's hot though. Some things you're going to need on any trip though are:

    Shampoo/Conditioner

    Shower Gels

    Loofah/Shower Sponge

    Razor

    Toothbrush/Toothpaste/Floss

    Blow dryer/flat iron/curling

    Towels for the beach

    sunglasses

Hair styling things (serums, sprays, etc)

Hair accessories, (things to put your hair up)

    Hair brush/comb

    Make-up (lips, eyes, face, etc)

Moisturizer for face, hands, and body

    Make up remover

    Cotton balls

    q-tips

    Tweezers

    band aids

    neosporin (you never know)

any medication you take (if you take any)

    Deodorant

    Tampons/pads

    Pants (if it gets cool)

    Shirts

    Tank tops

    Shorts

    Pajamas

    Underwear

    Socks

    bras

Sweatshirt (in case it gets cold)

    Jacket

    Sunblock

Aloe Vera gel in case you get sun burn

Dressy outfit if you go out to dinner etc

    Flip flops

    Sneakers

    Camera

    Cell phone

    Extra batteries

    Cell phone charger

    Books/magazines for the beach

I would leave any valuable jewelry at home.

I would also consider wearing pants to the concert unless you have seats, if it's general admission it could get too crowded and you can get your legs scratched up.

For the things that could leak, put them in ziplock bags.  Even the ones that are big.  Like for toothpaste, put them in the bag, cap first and then wrap the bag around the tube and then put a rubber band around the bag and tube.  Now if the tube opens, it won't wreck your clothing!

I hope this helps and that you have a fun and safe trip!!
