How Do I get water stains out of my Courbette saddle? I tried the Passier Ledderbalsam saddle soap & conditioning balm, (its supposed to be very nice) and the rain stains still wont disappear. Is there anything else that will work?

Currently my new saddle looks part leopard :(

  2. they'll go away w/ conditioning and use within about a week

  3. im not sure what type of saddle that is..but i have an HDR and i clean it w/ Leather CPR..then wipe it down w/ olive oil. Be careful though..the olive oil might make the saddle a little bit darker.

  4. Wet it from the flesh side (underneath).  Use a flat cellulose sponge (kitchen sponge w/o the green scrubbie).  Wet through but not dripping, turn saddle on it's back and wet every part.   When it's dry, your spots should be gone.

It's the finish on the top grain that causes the staining.
