I have some noodles (brand unknown)

Which I'm pretty sure are soba noodles.

I have no clue what to make with them ) :

Or what you put on top of them. Without a topping they're sort of bland.

What do you like to eat on/with Soba?

  1. The japanese typically serve cold or hot soba noodles with finely shredded seaweed, and a bowl of hot or cold dipping sauce made from bonito stock, soya, and mirin. Personally this is a bit boring and plain for me, So I tend to load it up with Japanese sesame based salad dressing, and I have eaten it with strips of red bell pepper and topped with any number of things- like raw fish, cooked teriyaki meats, and the best is that fake crab mixed with celery and mayo. Don't ask me why but its so d**n delicious. You mix it all together when you eat it and its really nice. Hope this has helped!

  2. avocados, sweet and sour stuff, and tahini sauce
