What Tortoises.....?

Question

What Tortoises are found in PA, My friend found a hatchling and it's dead mother next to it and he took it home. No i don't have pictures or descriptions. I want to know what tortoise it is so I can give it a home for the night, then give it to a rescue center.

Tortoises are not known to live in PA. The state mainly has turtles. But, if it did have a tortoise, it most likely will be a Gopher Tortoise as they are abundant throughout the east coast states..
