  1. I ride Mantra off park and AR6s  in park. Size doesnt make a difference for rails. Longer=more speed. Also some twin tips are lighter than others which help you stick 720s ect.  Armada is a really nice company the Line invaders are good quality for $. I ride a smaller than suggested ski  becuase i like having less ski to work int he trees.  It's all preference depending on wear you live you usauallly can demo skis. Line makes some great skis.

  2. Ar6's are armada's new model... wider than the ar5 underfoot because everyone is pushing for more backcountry-style skiing)  still a great park ski rated well by everyone who rides them.  With the birth of the ar6 came the 166cm size, which is perfect for me (150lbs/5'8")

Volkl walls are also a solid park ski, wider than volkl's earlier park specifics.  everyone i know who has them says the are amazing on rails.

other skis you might want to look at are solomons (spk, thruster, or even foil) all have been solid year after year and are consistantly top rated in freeskiier magazine.  as far as sizing goes, try to focus more on your hieght and especially your weight, not just rail specific.

  3. Another brand to look at is Rossignol Scratch FS series.

Ive talked with all the park designers/maintainers at my local resort and 8 out of the 10 of them all have (or wish they had) the rossignol scratch skis. Armada and Line are also amazing park skis.  And i'd say its better to have too short of skis than to have too long of skis.

  5. Well lets start by taking a look at how you are? If you hit a rail faster you get more balence, which means shorter, thiner twin tips are better for you. If you just want to do the "jump on" style try longer skies. So different skies are better for different people. Have someone record you on the slope side and watch how you balance on the skies you got. Then compare the ski you want to it so you know if it is right for you.

I go onto rails faster (helps land a 270 off) so i wear K2 silencers

    Enjoy the Park, Skiing_cr4zy ^_^

  6. well for the skis volkl wall and the sr6 are both great skis what ever you like better and shorter skis are not better for rails just go with a ski thats about to you forehead
