Now, As far as the car goes, don't get a honda civic for christ's sake! that s**t doesn't run! ok?

>Chevy Cobalt Supercharged

Hmmm.... there are others btu those two are the fastest for that money.

>Supra supercharged

>Mitsubishi 3000 GT Turbo

>BMW M3 (you need luck to find it at this price range)

>Mustang Cobra Supercharged

There are others but I can't think of right now. Obviously if you go used you'll have much more power but.... maybe more problems too.

Obviously get a Stick Shift Vehicle ONLY... no stick, no race! so learn.

Don't waste your money... Ian Wright already has the "Wright" car.  Save your money and buy electric instead...probably not Ian's car, though!  See youtube link...

26k for a first car? ok, but you can find some nice f-body mustangs that are already modded for cheap. just look on craigslist.
