I have nice dark green eyes( But not really dark)

I have long blonde hair too, and I think wearing makeup can make me look nicer, but I don't want to look like an idiot , because I have no experience in it.

Pics are nice :)

And please tell me if I can do anything with these things, and please give me suggestions on what to buy, and stuff.

I have:

Kinda dark brown eyeliner

Black eyeliner

Kind of a Hot Pink glittery lip gloss

And an eyelash curler

  1. helloooo hunni ok what you want is a black eyeliner a barry m one there not to expensive and there really good to use sounds to me like u have lovley eyes so by having black enhances your eyes your blonde to soooo i would go for some paler lip GLOSS say a very light pink and i would advise to use any very thin faint mascara which you can get from pretty much any where also a good thing to start off with is a same colour tone foundation or if your not that keen a conceler for the odd blotchy spot now and then thank you for reading wednesdayXxX

  2. man i remember i was horrible at doing makeup. one time i did it for homecoming and my mom saw me and seriously was like, "WTF?!!" LOL! anywayyy, i kept trying at it and now people ask me to do their makeup all the time! i love makeup and i love playing around with it. a lot of people tell me i look like vanessa hudgens, so what i do is look for pics of her online and get makeup ideas. whatever looks good on her is gonna look good on me. if something looks bad on her, chances are it'll look bad on me too. you and i are completely opposite (physically at least!) cause i have jet black hair and brown eyes, but i'll try to help as much as possible!

i know hilary duff has hazel eyes, but she's a blondie so you could look for pictures of her and steal some ideas. it doesn't have to be her, find someone whose style you like. blake lively is blonde and young, you could try her too. i'm not sure who you like!! i personally like hilary duff a lot just cause she seems like a sweet girl haha (forgive her acting and hey, some of her songs are really catchy!!) here's a website you could look over:

    http://hilary-style.org/english/

here are some big pics where you could see her makeup:

I LOVE THIS ONE! it looks so natural!

because even for me it's hard to match looks when i go to the store, i would RECOMMEND you print out one of these pics, whichever you like the most, and take it to MAC so they could help you. for them to actually do your makeup they charge 50 bucks (you buy 50 bucks in merchandise and they do your makeup).

okay, about the stuff you already have, it depends. in my opinion, it depends on the brands, it depends on your skin tone (is it even or blotchy), etc. i personally LOVE mascara and blush. i could do just fine with those two things. my guilty pleasure is MAC. i use their Studio Fix powder and it's awesome! it's great for coverage and it lasts. no store brand powder has worked for me, but it varies cause other people wear store brand stuff just fine. i only use my powder, some people wear powder AND foundation. i think it's too much unless you're going to prom or to something fancy.

alright, so let's talk about good store stuff. MAYBELLINE has the best mascaras in my opinion. BUT i also like MACs Pro Long Lash mascara. i have medium length lashes and i LOVE long lashes so mascara is def. my favorite stuff. the only thing good about maybelline is the mascara (personal opinion).

COVERGIRL has good blush, the powder and eyeshadows s-u-c-k!! RIMMEL does NOT work for me at all, i got acne from that stuff. i've never tried LOREAL or ALMAY, so idk about that stuff.

what else sucks...oh, SEPHORA powder sucks big time, as does their eyeshadow. their eyeliner wears off in a matter of minutes. my favorite eyeshadow is from, surprise surprise, MAC! it lasts the whole day and it's so pretty. you can get a quad palette for about 42 bucks. i know it sounds like a lot but you can mix and match the 4 colors.

okay i feel like my info is all over the place, but i love this website, this girl gives makeup tips and she even has tutorials.

she also responds to questions if you have any. well, i hope this helped! good luck!!

  3. natural makeup

  4. Generally, I suggest just putting a line of dark brown eyeliner on your top lid. Brown always goes well with green. I can't really help you there. Different looks call for different make-up styles and everyone in the world looks different. You either need to be more descriptive about how you look or post a picture.

  5. Don't use the eyeliner, it will most likely be too harsh. Use the curler, definitely!

I'd also suggest for you to buy some good neutural eyeshadows and experiment (look on the web for more advice and pics), some soft black or black brown (black brown if your skin is lighter, black if not) mascara. A good cheap mascara I use is max factor 2000 calorie mascara it's like $5...and use a kinda sheer lip gloss close to your natural lip color, not glittery but shiny.

  6. fist of all you have to like the way you look, no one can tell you what your style is you have to figure it out on your own. this a good web site.

  7. Well, the makeup basics you want to buy are:

    1. a nice, sheer whipped foundation (Covergirl Trublend!)  This stuff makes your skin so smooth and even looking, and it goes on very light because you barely need to use any at all.

    2. a concealer for blemishes (Covergirl works)

    3. Almay Intense I-Colors Play It Up! eyeshadow for green eyes.  Pink, purplish, and reddish tones will bring out your green eyes.  Don't use green eyeshadow because you want to use contrasting colors to make your peepers pop.

    4. A soft natural blush, Covergirl is best.

    5. Light brown eyeliner (Black or dark brown eyeliner is too harsh for blondes). Or raisin-purple eyeliner to bring out the green. The best eyeliner is the Sephora brand becasue it's very soft and goes on easy.  But it's rather expensive and so if you want to save cash, buy Covergirl.

    6. Dark Brown Great Lash mascara (the most popular brand in the USA).  This stuff is great, and your lash curler will only dramatize the effect.

    7. A nice natural looking lipgloss, like a rose-pink or reddish color.  Not too sparkly.  Sparkly hot pink lipgloss should be saved for costume parties.  Too much sparkle in makeup during the day makes you end up looking overdone and kind of cheap.

    8. A pressed powder compact. Very helpful for keeping your face fresh and not oily and shiny looking.  Keeps foundation in place.

    Big Tips:

As a beginner, go natural when you first try makeup.  Try out wild looks only at home, but stick to the basics when going out until you become more experienced.

Know your skin tone, whether it's warm or cool.  Warm skin tones look better in golds, browns and creams, versus cool skin tones who look good in silver, blacks and whites.  This will help in picking shades for makeup.  If you're warm, pick moremakeup with orange-y yellowy undertones, and if you're cool, pick stuff with blue or pink undertones.

Choose one feature of your face to accentuate (eyes, lips or your cheeks.) As a blonde, it is very important not to play up more than one feature, because it looks too harsh next to your hair.

Makeup comes in many different forms: liquid, pressed, loose, powder, whipped, creamy, stick, gel, etc...  Figure out what types are best for you at covergirl.com.

You need to put on makeup in a certain order (you might not use some of these products at first, but once you gain more experience you will):

Lotion, concealer, under-eye brightener, foundation, blush, powder or bronzer, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, lipliner (if needed), lipstick, lip gloss.

As for makeup techniques, there are many directions you could go.  I suggest making an account on www.covergirl.com.  They have a virtual makup mirror you can install on your computer for free so you can try on looks without buying them.  You can also receive coupons through email, and personalize your makeup profle so they can recommend the makeup that looks good on you.  You can also get tips off of the site for how to apply the makeup. The whole site is very enlightening.  If not, try maybelline.com. But Covergirl is probably the best.
