What Universities in the United States would you like to see have an NCAA Division 1 hockey team?

What Universities do you think would have a successful NCAA Div 1 Hockey teams?

For Universities you don't think would have a successful Div. 1 team, how about Div 2 or 3 instead?

Men's and/or Womens of course

I agree, I'd like to see more southern teams make Division 1 hockey teams (Arizona, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, even California) The northern USA is dominating this sport right now. The only problem is, they would most likely suck (no offense.) I live in Twin Cities, MN and all these colleges around my area scout the h**l out of all these high school kids (I go to school with someone who is the best freshman hockey player in MN and his father has already been approached by 20 Div. 1 schools from northern USA). I personally just dont think the southern teams could get enough good players to even compare to the golden gophers or north dakota or something to that degree.

I would like to see the Florida Atlantic Owls work their way up there They are a Div 3 right now. The football team did it, then they can as well. They are only in their second year. That would be great for them

Maybe if more large NCAA schools had Div. 1 hockey, the sport would spread to wider areas.

Personally I'd cheer for Tulane or LSU. But then I am kind of a displace Cajun.

Anyone else see the similarity to a Cajun and a Canajun?

none.  I hate hockey.  i would actually like to see the NHL disband.
