I am looking at buying a vehicle and want some advice. Here are my criteria:

+ I want something that is not a gas guzzler

+ has some good trunk space (i.e. I want to carry more than just a suitcase).

+ inexpensive

+ 2000 to 2005 model (inexpensive remember)

+ not a van or true station wagon (Toyota Matrix is not a true station wagon and therefore ok).

+durable

+Canadian Model

+I will have to deal with snow occasionally

+ I love to listen to music while I drive

What do you recommend? Feel free to add any comments you want. Any help would be much appreciated.

  1. Pontiac Vibe.  It is American, but Pontiac makes a good car, fairly inexpensive to fix, is not a station wagon, and can come with all wheel drive.

  2. Price range? "inexpensive" is 30K to some people.

I'd look at the Subaru Legacy GT.

  3. the ford focus... i love mine and i live in the mountains of NC.. so we have bad winters as well :) my car does better than some 4wheel drives :)) h**l i even pulled my brother out with my car lol he has a 04 pontiac grand am... and we was in 4 inches of snow when this happened lol

  4. Honda Civic.  They are very dependable vehicles!  Ummm... they are not a Canadian Model, but I really have no clue what kind of car is.
