What Video format do mobile phones use.?

3GP usually, here some info;

Sometimes MP4, but because of the compression, 3GP is more effective.

It depends on the handset you have, I don't know so cant say for definite but for example a Nokia N95 8GB uses MP4 where as a Samsung SGH-G600 is both MP4 and 3GP. Most phone manufacturer websites will give the spec on the handset so you'll be able to find out quite easily
