  1. I miss alien Encounter and Wonders of life

  2. I also miss Alien Encounter; I still don't know why they changed it.

I would like to add, though, the original Tiki Room attraction.  I have actually avoided it since it's gone "Under New Management"... I know I should go check it out before I go around bashing it, but I just don't have the heart to go see it all changed around!

  3. They also got rid of the back to the future ride.

  4. I miss Alien encounter and Penny Arcade and Toad.

  5. Finding nemo is at disneyland. pooh's playful spot is at wdw in magic kingdom i miss alien encounter

  6. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

    The Wonders of Life

    El Rio de Tiempo

  7. Wow, noone seems to remember the Swan Boats.

Personally I miss the ORIGINAL Journey Into Imaginagetion (my daughter can't ride the new version as it causes her to have seizures and the sounds hurt her ears).

20,000 Leagues was okay, and for a long time after it stopped running the que area was used as a character meet and greet. Now it is a Hundred Acre Woods play area for the little kids (sorry it's not finding Nemo, that's at Epcot Living Seas).

Everyone misses the SkyRide (except me as I have issues with heights :p )...the reason it closed down is the wonderful weather we experience here in Central Florida which kept the darn thing closed more than it was open.

As for Alien Encounter (now Stitch's Great Escape) ,still the same idea just more FAMILY friendly (issue #1) and also someone got offended by the 'it's my Mother-in-law' comment. For us 'old-timers' it was originally Mission To Mars.

Tiki may be 'Under New Managment', but it's pretty much still the same show. They just added Iago to it.

Adventure Land is now more crowded since they added the Aladdin's Magic Carpet Ride and I am waiting for the day when someone sticks their hand in the barrle of fake snakes and gets bit by a live one (contrary to popular belief, there really are posionous snakes that slither around the Jungle Cruise area).

I don't know if anyone remembers this or not, but as you are walking down Main Street, you will see an old fashioned animatronic Ticket Seller-----there used to be a little theatre behind her that showed old Mickey Mouse cartoons---now it's a store.

  8. I have to agree with part of your list.

    Magic Kingdom:

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride - it's now Winnie the Pooh but you can still see it in california

20,000 Leagues Under The Sea for a playground? having the technology that they have now they could have done something amazing. i had an idea for a coaster there but that idea will remain secret for now.

Main Street Penny Arcade was awesome.with all the old arcade games. that;s what made it different.

Alien Encounter - was a cool ride.

Eastern Flight (if you had wings) was the original ride. as one airline failed and disapeared, it was taken over by another one. although i do like buzzlightyear.

    EPCOT

The old The Living Seas attraction - I miss the hydrolators. i know that it created a bottle neck but it was still cool. the core of the attaction is still the same.

The Wonders of Life - they could keep body wars (maybe redo the video) and add new rides, in a park like epcot they should be more high tech.

El Rio de Tiempo - istead of learning about a country, they have made a charicature of its traditions and culture. its cute for the kids but i think it doesn't represent the original idea of epcot.

other things i miss... the parade at epcot. i know, it was a pain because you basically could not walk around the countries and were stuck where ever you were when the parade started but it was still cool. maybe not every day but every couple of days.

  9. To your list I'd add the old Crystal Palace breakfast and the MK's Sky Ride (I surely do wish they'd do something with the old building next to the Haunted Mansion) and the Time Keeper (now the Monsters, Inc comedy show).

    :o)
