  1. probably a Heinkle He 177, but it is hard to tell from the pic check out this site

  2. It could be a Ju52, but in all honestly I think it may be a BF110 (Messerschmitt).  The plane appears to be a bomber plane, rather than a parachuter plane.

  3. They look like Ju-52 transports to me. It's hard to be sure, the picture is small and fuzzy, but it looks like there are three engines, two in the wings and one in the nose. And only the Ju-52 had that particular arrangement.

  4. WichpO Odd  title is correct they are Hienkel 117's  not Doniers because they had a more pencil shape, which is the best way to describe it. Maybe some ex fighter pilots can enlighten us further.

I had the privilege of knowing a pilot who flew in the Battle of Britain, now sadly passed away. Phil East. a kind and gentle man. A man of courage who fought to the last. He told me many stories of those dark days, I cried when he died and I still miss him.

  5. Heinkles probably. You could google twin engine German bombers.

  6. I believe that they are actually JU52s

A 3 engined transport aircraft best known for dropping german Parachute troops but occasionally used for bombing missions with external racks.

I believe this due to the wing shape and also because under magnification the shape of the 3rd engine on the nose can be discerned and also black marks where the fixed undercarriage would be. You cannot see the wheels hanging down because of the angle the photo was taken at.

       Ray.

Edit. The wings are all the wrong shape for a Bf 110
