No. I don't know that answer. I'm trying to find out which team blew the biggest lead and lost in the ninth inning of a ball game. Doesn't matter if it was in the majors or in the minors.

  1. Thanks for bringing that up Celtics.

    Mota sucks.

  2. IDK if this helps because it doesn't really count, but I remember a game  a couple of years ago, the yankees VS the orials. The O's had a 14 run lead in the ninth and the Yanks scored 13 runs, losing by 1.

  3. I don't know the biggest, but those d**n Me ts blew a nice one the other night versus the Phil lies.  Now that I think about it Cleave land came back from a big defecate against Seattle on a Sunday night game on ESPN several years ago.

  4. This year the Dbacks scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win. It was crazy. They didnt even record an out.

  5. Statistically speaking, probably not. But emotionally speaking, DEFINITELY. The Mets were on a huge run and now they got the lead and they are looking good to finish off their rival Phillies in the first game of the series and get a leg up on them. Then that happens and it must have crippled them emotionally. They did manage to rebound though.

  6. Red Sox scored 6 in the bottom on the 9th last year against the Orioles on Mother's Day.

  7. The Cleveland Indians trailed the Seattle Mariners 8-1 going into the bottom of the 9th in a 2001 game, then scored 8 runs to win 9-8. This was also the same year Cleveland overcame a 14-2 deficit in the 7th inning against Seattle to win 15-14 in extra innings

  8. Here you go here are the two biggest blown leads in the Ninth inning of a MLB game. I had to do some research on these but i came up with these 2 games

AL -   Cleveland beat Washington 14-13 on May 23, 1901, by scoring 9 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 outs and no men on base. See: http://tinyurl.com/35c4vv

NL-    August 21,1990 Dodger Stadium Phillies at Dodgers. The Dodgers had an 11-3 lead going to the top of the 9th inning, amazingly the Phillies scored 9 runs (key blast a 3 run homer John Kruk (now an ESPN Baseball Analyst) to take a 12-11 lead. They held the Dodgers scoreless and won 12-11.
