  1. Choose your own colours.

It's your day not anyone elses, and all of us on Yahoo Answers don't know you, we don't know what you look like and what your favourite colours are.

It depends on what you want, where you want it, when you want it, how you want it. It all comes down to making your own decisions.

  2. hmmm... i dont think red is a good color for summer. maybe if your wedding ceremony will be late in the afternoon it would be more appropriate. it would be wonderful if its different shades of red if its during the day.

  3. Red and chocolate brown or red and gold. My colours is also gonna be wine red and black! GOOD LUCK!

  4. Brown, Beige, Cream...

  5. i like deep royal blue to compliment & balance out the red

  6. It depends on what time of day the wedding is, where the wedding is and what season it will be in.

You could use yellow, dark purple, green, yellow-green, brown etc..

I think red and black would be good for a formal winter wedding. They would look good together and you wouldn't need a third color.

  7. Gold if you want a regal wedding, Yellow if you want a fun wedding color scheme, or white if you want a simpler summer wedding.

  8. Black, cream, brown and even gold will look good with deep red.

I think it's stupid to go for colours just because they're "summer colours". Go for the colours you WANT, and the colours that SUIT YOU. Don't let anyone tell you you're doing it wrong.

We're having a summer wedding, and our colours are dark red and cream. I laugh at people if they tell me they are winter colours, because there's no such thing. You get red and cream in the summer too, people.

You're the ones wearing the colours though, so make sure you both like them, and that you both suit them. How happy would your groom be if you dressed him up in baby pink? Or if you were wearing the brightest green just because it was a spring wedding?

  9. I'm going black and white, with red in there to mix it up a little.

It depends on what kind of person you are. I wanted something different, and something that would stand out and make a statement.

  10. I hope this can help you choose the best color combination for your wedding http://www.prye.com/view/wedding_colors....

  11. Gold... definitely gold.

  12. for summer i wouldn't choose deep red. i would go for pastels and brights, but since you want red, here are my suggestions:             consider going monochromatic- different shades of the same color. OR consider having related tones- colors adjacent to eachother on the color wheel (your color with plum, burgundy, orange or coral). LASTLY, consider having complementary colors- colors opposite eachother on the color wheel  (your color with sea green or teal). Best of luck and happy marriage! :]

  13. a nice chocolate brown.

my cousin had turquoise and brown and it looked really beautiful :)

i would think brown would really go well with red

  14. red and black don't seem like summer colors to me. try lighter shades especially if you're having a daytime wedding. if you are into warm colors, pale pink and plum could work, or yellow and tangerine. if you like cool colors, chartreuse, lime or aqua. you could also add touches of silver or gold for a more festive feel.

    good luck!
