I got a 1960 last March and will be taking it again this October. I'm taking a 9 week SAT class at my school too. So, how many points do you think it will raise. Will I be able to reach at least a 2100?Or a 2200?

  1. the average increase is 300 points

  2. The average increase is nowhere near 300 points!

A 100 point increase is a lot. If when you took it the first time you didn't remember math formulas and now you know them, or you didn't know the rules and expectations for the essay, some do increase a lot. But most don't. Most vocabularies don't grow substantially in a few months nor do math skills explode.

Going to 2100 would be a much bigger than average increase.

  3. i got a 1600 on the psat, took a couple more practice tests, and then got a 1760 on the real deal. nobody can give you specific numbers, but im sure youll do better if youre that concerned about improving your score. at least you know how the system works now

  4. btw psat is out of 240 points >=D, but personally my experiences i went from 1980 to 2040 =D for 9 week sat class

highest in each section adds up to 2110 =)

idk about u, but i no that the sat scores usually don't change that much, only drop =(
