The Whole Internet cannot crash only parts of it. It would depend on which part crashed.

SO unlikely to happen it's not an issue.

The internet is like a net, thousands of seperately linked networks joined together.    When 2 major internet links in the middle east were broken by shipping earlier in the year, there was no "significant" problems, even locally, just a lack of overall speed, everthing still worked.

You'd have to simultaneously break so many individual systems that it's almost impossible it could happen.
