What Would Happen To Teenager IF Caught Without Permit Or Anything????

Question

okay im just curious of what would happen if a 16 year old guy teenager gets caught without a permit or anything, but he does have like a school ID what would happen???

I assume this pertains to driving, and most likely you'd get charged with driving without a license, probobly get a fine, and maybe jail, and probably not be able to get a legit license for some time.

1. you won't be able to get your permit/license for at least 3 years depending on what state you live in.

2. HUGE FINE

3. If you are in an accident that is your fault, the insurance will not cover it. The person who owns the car could get dropped from their insurance because they let an unlicensed driver drive the car.

4. your parents or the owner of the car would get into trouble for letting you drive it... if they say you didn't have permission, you can get in trouble for stealing the car (which could be jail time/another huge fine/community service... and you will have a criminal record)

5. your insurance rates are going to be CRAZY for the next 10 or so years once you get your license.

6.  the car would be impounded and you will have to pay a lot of money to get it out.

7.  any punishment handed down from your parents/legal guardians...

A school ID does not give you the right to drive a car.  if you are caught driving without a license there are probably fines, and you will probably be prevented from applying for a permit for a while.  plus when you do finally get a license and try to get insurance the violation will be on your record which means even more money for you to pay!  congrats!
