What Would You Rather Have???

Question

A plainly frosted (no frills or decoration) cake that tasted so good you wanted to gobble the whole thing up OR a beautifully decorated showpiece cake that was only so-so tasting (not bad, but not great)???

I'd take taste over presentation any day!

It depends what the occasion is, and who the crowd is.

I think id rather it look amazing, and be a OK taste, if it were for a dinner party, or something "fancy".

But for a birthday party, or back yard BBQ- plain yummy taste!

The taste! What's the point of something looking so beautiful when it's not so great anyway?

I'll go with the one that tastes great:) ....  Maybe I could decorate a styrofoam cake beautifully then, and serve the great-tasting plain cake!   You could just keep reusing the styrofoam cake!

Preferably, I would have a beautiful and delicious cake, but that not being the question, I would choose taste over looks any day.  

After all, it's what is on the inside that really counts, right?
