Bret Hart had a great run in the WWF as WWF Champion and beat a great deal of the absolute best. Hogan and Sammartino are the only ones to rival that kind of competitive feat imo.

I see many people said Undertaker i would partially agree but!- YOU HAVE TO BE CONFIDENT AND DEMAND IT. I have never heard or seen Undertaker say anything about being the best.

undertaker, shawn michaels, and ric flair(even tho he doesnt wrestle anymore)

both of these guys have beaten almost everyone that theyve fought. i know its scripted and everything, but these guys have the match of the night when they wrestle and have wrestled almost everybody there is to wrestle

In the business right now, definitely has to be The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. They've been around for a long time, and have beaten the best.

Undertaker actually has the edge because he's gone over Hulk Hogan, HBK hasn't.

Currently, It would have to be a toss up between Shawn Michaels & Undertaker they both have been in high profile matches with elite legandary opponents.

Shawn Michaels retired the Nature Boy & Undertaker has one of the most dominant streaks in wrestling history, and Shawn Michaels is Mr. Wrestlemania. I can go on all night with their list of accomplishments. But there is no need for that. Their history speaks for itself.

To make this short, those 2 are the ones I consider the current best in this business.

The Undertakers career is impressive, HBK has fought everyone, but John Cena hasnt from my knowledge beat the Rock or Stone Cold so count him out

This is going to be a very unpopular choice so I'm bracing myself for thumbs down, Mr. Kennedy.

I don't think he is THE best, but there is no denying him the title of THE best mid carder. During his three years in the WWE he:

~Became the United States Champion

~Beat 8 former world champions (including Kane, Undertaker, Batista, Chris Benoit, and Shawn Michaels,)

~Won the Wrestlemania 23 MITB batch (though he later lost the briefcase)

~Beat the Undertaker on several occasions, including in a First Blood match. Not many people have done that.

well as most people say the undertaker

cause look at his career he has 16-0 at wrestlemania that is something no other wrestler has even come close to doing and think about it he has beaten so many great wrestlers and even though he has lost a few matches to bret hart and shawn michaels he WOULD have won IF people like kane did not intervier and if people like shawn michaels would have been a fair refferee so undertaker i would have to say has beaten the best to become the best and THAT is why he is my favorits wrestler

Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker...

They are the only two that have been there the last 15 years, so until RAW and Smackdown became two separate brands they had almost beat the same people. The only difference in accomplishment being being Taker's Wrestlemania streak; and Shawn's Grand Slam Champion status. Shawn had the "privilage" to beat Ric Flair in his last match; Taker is the only man in the WWE to beat Hulk Hogan for two World Heavyweight Titles. Their stats will go back and forth all day long, so you just gotta respect them both and call it a tie.
