McCain, no E, is smarting than you think.  His selection was done  methodically and hopefully it will result in more independents & women voters casting their ballot.  I say, it's just the beginning and about time a woman held more power.  Smart move McCain!

Yes, he does think he will attract women voters. He is hoping to attract Clinton supporters, but his main target is independent women voters.

I was thinking more along that he thought he needed to match up to Obama because he has a minority on his ticket (himself) and so does McCain (that lady).  The hilary supporter thing never crossed my mind because that is not why I was originally a Hillary supporter in the first place.
