Not a rip-off. Just a bunch of suckers. Sorry, but that's how gambling works. One of my rule-of-thumbs is to never bet on ridiculous odds that are greater than 1-1.50. Big Brown was 2-5 to start, then 1-4 at race time. No Way Jose!
