If you go to Wendy's and get a Frosty Float, you can order any drink for it. I thought the rootbeer was the main one for floats. What happened?

  1. A standard root beer float is root beer with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it. I'm not sure the others would be quite that good.

  2. a float is any soda pop with ice cream in it.

  3. A float is any soda topped with vanilla ice cream, most people prefer rootbeer because it has a mellower flavor than cola or lemon lime. That doesn't mean you can't experiment.QT gas stations have drink "recipies" near the soda fountain for those that want to try them.

  4. nah... some ppl like coke floats ( coke and vanilla ice cream ) or orange floats ( sunkist and vanilla ice cream)

    it all depends...

  5. Root beer is the standard soft drink for floats. Wendy's is giving you a choice. Of course, you realize that their Frosty isn't really ice cream anyway!

  6. A Rootbeer float is just that, RootBeer with Vanilla Ice cream Floating in it.  A BlackCow is a Coca Cola with Vanilla Ice Cream floating in it.

  7. You can use any flavor of soda you like..

Coke Float is Vanilla ice cream with Coke poured over it

Rootbeer Float is Vanilla ice cream with Rootbeer over it...

its works the same for all soft drinks.
