I think our boys are burnt out, and have just lost their passion for now. Perhaps give them all a rest and we'll see then how they are travelling. Sooner or later their fire in their bellies will return, and look out India you wont know what's hit you!

What do you expect...Ponting and Gilgrist don't seem to be motivated anymore..Don't blame Gilly of course,but it seems that Ponting has not taken it really good (gilly's retirement).

very poor example of an impatient attitude by Gilly, Ponting and Clark, maybe they have had enough this summer and they should have rested.

Australia is in massive trouble and will get slaughtered later in the year in India.

They are making appalling selection decisions.  Hogg as a test spinner - never.  Haddin as a specialist batsmen, what a joke. Jacques, not up to it, good batsman against ordinary bowling, good bowling will always find him out.

They need to bring is some players under 25 and groom them.  A new opener replacing Jacques to gain experience from Hayden and then another new opener when Hayden retires.  Symonds out of the test side for a specialist batsman, another young player etc.

And they need to forget the likes of McGill, Hodge, and anyone else over 25 and that includes the other Hussey.
