What a good name, if the nickname is Essie?

i am writing a story and i have a character names Essie, but i realized that i should probally have a real name for her, and essie be her nickname, because she was born in the early 1900's.

so does anyone know good names for a girl whose nick name is Essie?

Esther, or Estelle, or Estella. Or just make up your own old-fashioned sound name that starts with 'es', like Essara, or something like that.

Essie can be a first name if you like. I used to babysit a little girl name Essie. I can't really think of a real name for Essie.*
