What a good quality digital camera for a reasonable price?

I wanna buy a digital camera for my son, so he can post some of his pics on his myspace. It's a birthday gift to my son. but i never bought any cameras for him before. this is my first time.

I use a Nikon L11 6 Mega pixel point and shoot. It is a great camera! I like it because it has a lot of preset "scenes." For instance if you are inside in low light then you set it to the "indoor" scene. same for outdoor and landscapes etc. It is very easy to use and it is relatively cheap.

Depends how much you want to spend. I just bought the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18K. Depending where you get it from it will run you between 250-350. It is the best digital camera out there! it competes with the camere as double the price! the picture are amazing! if you want a thats modern for a teenager than i would reccomend the kodak v1003. Its about  200 and its really nice and sleek!
