  1. mice. you can sell them to people who need feeders...

you'll get a ton of them!

  2. Don't breed.

Unless you're going to get licensed, we don't need people to add to the overpopulation of unwanted pets.

  3. HAMSTER:)

hamsters are SMALL. and they're so cuuute<3

  4. Breeding is more difficult then people think. You should not just buy two small animals in a petshop and start breeding them, they are in the petshop because the breeder knew they didn't have any good qualitys to improve their breed.  You should not breed animals unless they have good qualitys. Like for instance lop earred rabbits, say I have two lop earred rabbits, one has perfect ears for their breed, one has perfect or unusual colouring in it's genes, they are a good match. There are enough un-wanted animals in the world so breeding should be done carefully, You should get your breeding animals from a breeder that is respected and known for good animals. They should be able to:

Trace back to the animal's grandparents

Know if their are any abnormalities in their genes

    Know what colourings they carry

Since you are inexperienced I would suggest breeding mice for snake food, many mice in petshops are treated horribly until they are snake food. You would be able to provide a good life for yours before they are eaten.

Breeding well and successful is alot harder then sticking a male and a female together in a cage.

  5. maybe a tiny bird

  6. One that you have years of experience with and have a source for quality breeding stock.

Breed for the love of the species, not just for the sake of breeding. If done correctly, breeding anything won't make you any money. You'll spend more on supplies and vet care than you'll make from selling the offspring.

Even small animals require lots of work. You can't just stick some males and females together. You need to start off with good, healthy stock - from another reputable breeder, not a pet store. You also need to have a good knowledge of genetics and you need to know about selective breeding in order to breed healthy, friendly animals that meet the standard. Breed to improve the species, not just to make more of them.

Also, it's very important to have experience keeping the animal as a pet before you breed them. There are some things you can only learn from actually having the pet - you want to be familiar with the species. If you find a small pet that you really enjoy keeping and would like to make the huge commitment that breeding requires, I won't discourage you. However, breed responsibly! Don't undertake it lightly, and don't expect to make any money.
