  1. not  an Eagles supporter, but very sad on his passing.  Apparently heard Ben Cousins was last to see him, dont like the sound of that with Ben Cousins  record of late.

  2. Maybe I can answer this without getting reported?

yesterday I posted a question about Chris's death and having Ben Cousins been the last person to see him.

Some losers decided to report it because they didnt want to hear the truth!

When will people realise that DEPRESSION is not something that makes people feel 'blue' or when people kill themselves that they were just crying out for help!\When you are depressed, Really Depressed, you want to die!

You don't want to cry for help!

    You want to die!

    Chris is at peace now!

    Why can't people get this??

  3. According to the Age Website, Marijuana and Ectasy.

  4. As it seems to be with the media, NEVER LET THE TRUTH GET IN THE WAY OF A GOOD STORY, they will be speculating for weeks. Ben Cousins & mainwaring were on a bender, cousins supplied the gear.We will more than likely never know. He was a legend of the game & should be remembered that way, NOT in the manner that he passed

  5. to much partying with Benny boy

  6. How everyone dies—tragically.

  7. suspected drug overdose, and i am sure he will be sorely missed by many fans

  8. Put simply, with no fluff on it, he overdosed.

He has been addicted to drugs for a long time, just like his mate Benny. He was a well know party boy.

I don't care what anyone's opinion on drug taking is, do it and you risk your life.  It's that simple. Do illicit drugs when you are depressed and there is a fairly good chance you will die from it sooner or later.

I don't understand why all these elite sports people have habits.  I did use to spend a lot of time with some ARL players and I know they are EXACTLY the same.  Any chance they could, they would be either smoking pot or taking other chemical substances.  And they certainly drank!  Most of them, nearly every night.  These are supposed to be men at the top of their chosen sport!  Why, on earth risk it and risk your performance?  Peer pressure.  Because if you do it and then I do it, then neither of us will dob the other one in.

Which leads to how they often end up being accused of so many other things like rape and assault.  Half of them don't even know what happens on their nights out.

Just to top that off ..................... 99% of them cheat on their partners.

  9. they dont know yet Id rather wait until its official in a few days then beieve some of the rumours going around.

  10. I doubt anyone will know until they have done a full report.  The media will just hype things up and leak speculations and propaganda...just to keep the public happy..*sigh*

  11. They haven't said yet, officially.  He was "yelling in the street" and someone was concerned and called paramedics, but when they arrived, he was calm.  They left, and 45 mins later, they were called back and he died.  I've read that Brad Hardie has said Mainy had "personal problems" over the last two weeks.  Goodness knows what this means.  Very sad, only 41 years old and two lovely young children and a lovely wife.  RIP Mainy x x x x x x x

Edit: Channel 9 News have just reported "suspected drug overdose".  God, I hope not.  His family have to live with this.
