What about David Reutimann to the 45?

I saw on Jayski today that it is rumored that David will/may be headed to the 45 Petty car, with Kyle stepping out.

Thoughts?

Kyle had said when they announced the selling of the team that he wanted to stay in the car a couple more years to promote The Victory Junction Gang. I haven't heard anything but maybe being in the booth for a few races the last couple years has changed his mind.

That would be a bad move on David's part. David is better than Kyle, but the #45 is a bad move for any driver.

About time richard petty needs to get a good driver in that 45 car but bobby labonte is doin good in the 43 dodge

Hmmm kinda odd cause I thought that Reutimann was signed to MWR for a while (like through 2010 at least).

Nooooo! He needs to be back in the Aaron's Dream Machine!  The 45 will probably get someone like Johnny Sauter if Kyle steps down.  If so, that would be Johnny's last chance, 'cause he's lost his ride now that Stewart bought into Haas/CNC.  He's just a seat filler, anyway.
