I predict that the Dow will go up 75 points next week ... unless it  doesn't, in which case I want my money back.

It might go up. It might go down.

Technical indicators indicate that the market may be a bit oversold, so technicians will probably buy.

If you're willing to hold for more than a year and you invest next week, you probably won't lose money, and you've got a pretty good shot at making some.

Although if a certain presidential candidate is elected, investors will probably flee our stock market in a stampede.

My guess... the Dow finishes next week up 300 points, the s&p up about 50.

Peter Jungman obviously is unaware that the election will not have been held by the end of next week!

My guess is that the market will rise 15 to 50 points by the end of the week.

Regardless of who wins, when the election is over, the market will rise again....the thing buyers like least is uncertainty, they don't care who wins or loses the Presidency!
