  1. no...

    1) too old

    2) cant Field at all

    3) bowling isnt miraculously good

    4)shud be retiring

  2. dada is dada and no one can deny it. he can never come back as long as the lazy snob sharad powar is the minister. though it will be a welcome and positive move, it is impossible. this is the true situation

  3. No way....... SACHIN is best as senier player, only his name can change d game, no need of Ganguly.

  4. Brain says no and heart says yes.

  5. may be he will be in!!

  6. no..........

  7. We have Tendulkar as the most experienced and the rest of youngesters are going to have a bright future. So why need of Ganguly? No need of him. Youngsters will perform and Sachin will guide them till he retires from ODI cricket.

Yeah that's a great idea:To bring Ganguly back in the ODI team .It will strengthen the batting, and he's in good form. There's no reason to drop him.And Youngsters like yusuf pathan, robin uthappa, rohit sharma, all need to go back to domestic level and they have to prove that they are worthy of a place in the national side so that they can take sometime to regain their form and confidence. They have been given ample number of chances to prove themselves and that too at zero pressure because all the time dhoni decided to put pressure only on seniors right everyone knows that. These Youngsters enjoyed playing but  couldn't perform at International levels.yes you can be keeping them but, they haven't performed to prove a point?what happened we lost in bangladesh tri-series and then now we lost the asia cup back-to-back.There are lot of talented youngsters out there playing domestic cricket too.

This rotation policy should find place for those players too. When it comes to challengers trophy yes the selectors should try to get back their serenity and pick players who are in good form and performing rather than just choosing names they like and axing names they don't like!! Yeah in ASIA CUP too srilanka totally found their place with the help of experienced players like Kumara sangakarra, jaysuriya!!

whether he'll play world cup is doubt,BUT HE'LL DEFINITELY PLAY CHAMPIONS TROPHY,if exhausted  dhoni eases off his  ego and brings in the team interests before his personal favouritism.

  9. GANGULY was a G8t leader and a great batsmen.Like i said was.. time to move on, promote youth!!! they are the future. Now, incase, if u wonder, what about experienced players being in the team?,,by 2011,, iam sure players like Dhoni, Yuvi,Gambhir, etc,  would gain enough , if still in form.

  10. Unfortunate mate...

I mean u kno maybe if they don't wanna keep him in the ODIs but show some respect at least

It's ridiculous to keep him out of the 30 probables for CT

    what if somebody gets injured

would we fall back on Virat Kohli....

fair enough Virat has done well

but we all kno who's better

  11. he can make a come because he has great record in ODI`s. but everything is depending on the selectors.

  12. may not be!!

  13. No... the BCCI selectors wont have him in the team. And anyway, i would think that he would have retired by then

  14. this is only india's weak point

they don't take the players who r in form

he deserves playing for his team

  15. Why Not, experienced players are more required for the World cup.

  16. ganguly odi is finish

  17. no.....no need....!!!

  18. He's not chosen for the champions trophy probables indicating he's out of the ODI scheme.

  19. he should not be selected for oneday game again

  20. no yaar i think not bcoz theree is a lot of young talent in the team right now and they are performing well too.so i think only sachin can make it in the team.

  21. Ya, he might be in, not as a player, but may be as  the coach, for the  world cup,, 2011..Come on guys, we have a population of 1.3 billion ppl and we are still dependent on few older players??, its time for a reality check here now.. no offence to dada, he was a G8t captian and a good batsmen but hey time to move on and we are talking about 2011 here guys, he probably be 40 yrs of age !! we have so young and smart talents, who are waiting to be know, give them a chance!!,,

  22. May be..

  23. Arey bhaisaahab, worldcup is a long way away, pehle yeh dekho, will he be included in any one day fixtures now, india is looking for a young side now and they are grooming people like gambhir and raina and rohit to take over the mantle, ganguly is a world class batsman but with age catching up and his fielding not being world class,it seems highly unlikely that he will play the worldcup, but then cricket and its situations are funny.Keep looking!!

  24. ??????????????????? (a  big ? mark of  including DADA in the team) it is a million dollor question

  25. I think his ODI career is over. He may refuse to give up, which is in his blood,

And with so many talent around, BCCI will waste no time in finding an excuse to exclude him.

Unless there is a slump in form in most of the young players (if they are ephemeral like a shooting star), then BCCI will be forced to think of Ganguly.

After all he has run into trouble with CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal).

    http://www.cricketnext.com/news/ganguly-...

And now he has criticized Dhoni for taking a break, which could be detrimental to his career.

    http://www.cricketnext.com/news/sourav-g...

Ganguly will be 39 by 2011 world cup. Chances of him playing at that time are bleak.

  26. he is of no use

he deserve no place in the team

    he is old

he is kicked out of the team

  27. No way - Selectors are banking on young team -

  28. NO Indian Selector will keep a eye on Him But i dont thk that he vl move to India ODI Squard again. we will Hope for the Best ... well He is Duing Good in Test Squad so Its better to keep him in the Test Squad.

  29. no

  30. He is not the ganguly i saw in the past. He is not the Ganguly who used to play confidently and aggresively in those days. Anyways he is fit to play in test level cricket.

  31. In the past now thankyou.
