What about Garlic?

does garlic really doe its work or is it just a fable? Does it cure ur sickness? or does is it just bad for you? If so whats the home remedy for colds/runny nose/runny eyes?

  1. Garlic + ginger + green chilli in warm water+ honey to taste- cold cough & sore throat.

    Garlic boiled in milk spaced in equal doses. For drying up  phlegm from chest


  2. Garlic is a natural antibiotic that will boost your immune system.  It is very good for people with sinus problems.

    To avoid any smell problems you can get odourless garlic oil capsules.  These capsules are much stronger than odourless garlic tablets as the capsules contain about three times as much garlic as the tablets.

Garlic is actually very good for you and for many ailments, it is actually suggested to eat at least 2 or 3 cloves with one of your daily meals.  it is good for the heart, circulation, and has been shown to prevent heart attacks or at least reduce the risk.  It is also very good for infections, because garlic contains some arsenic which helps in such cases.  If you're worried about the smell, that's a quick fix, just rinse chew and eat a couple of leaves of parsley, (better when fresh but dried also works, might want to get a piece of gum afterword just to get some of the taste out of your mouth, its a little bitter sometimes).  

    As for colds, green tea is the best (sweeten it with honey if possible, its better than sugar) and also a slice of lemon, obviously drink it as hot as possible but don't burn yourself.  

    Also get a couple of lemons, wash them and put them in the blender with skin and all (might want to take out the seeds though).   Afterwords put them in a jar and put honey on top of them until they're sumberged, and then stir it together.  Let it sit in the frige for about a day with the cap on of course, and then just take a couple spoonfulls once in the day and one at night.  (old school home remedy; some say its also good in helping with weight loss).

    For colds also,  if you're nauseous don't drink ginger ale as some say, it will make you even more nauseous and sometimes even bloated.  Something sour like a lemon is much better of getting rid of nausea.

  4. Garlic is fantastic for Cardiovascular health, Circulation, Heart health, Immune system, and other smaller impacts on the body. There are many people who take Garlic to fight illnesses because it's good for the immune system.

    The only reason it would be bad for you is if you're allergic to it (which is rare) or if you don't like the smell.
