No it doesn't. There is too much history up for grabs for Hillary to walk away from this. Hillary has a head start. She needs to overcome Palin, not in 2008, but in 2012. The spotlight will be on Palin should McCain win. And if McCain decides to call it quits and not try for a 2nd term, then Palin and Hillary could very well face off in 2012.
