What about a Anderson Silva vs Melvin Manhoef fight?

First off Manhoef fights at 205 and most of his fights are in K1 which is very different from the UFC.  While his 21-4-1 record may look impressive, he really hasn't fought anyone considered a top mma fighter, while A Silva (185lb UFC Champion) has fought and beat a pretty impressive list such as Rich Franklin (twice), Nate Marquardt, and Dan Henderson to name his most recent, while compiling a 21-4 record.

No question Anderson Silva has a better all around mma game and would be the favorite in this fight.

Well there are a few problems with that. One he fights at 205, he is pretty cut so I think he would have a problem getting down to 185. Second, he fights with Dream so they would have to get him signed. Third, Melvin is short, something like 5'7, Silva is around 6'2", so he would have a hard time striking against Silva. Melvin fought like 5, maybe 6 times last year so he might be due for some rest. Lastly, he hasn't really fought anyone that I would call a high caliber fighter. Granted Melvin usually wins in the first round, his fights are interesting to watch. He keeps it up UFC might sign him one day. SO... for now I am going to have to go with Anderson on this one.
