I have a 28 gal. tank with 2 zebra danio, 2 neon, 3 yo-yo, 1 long fined red minor tetra, and a dwarf sucker fish. I'm thinking of getting a Pearl Gourami, but I'm not sure if it would do well in my tank or not, and if it would do well how many should I keep together? (and not have them fight)

  1. GOURAMIS ARE OK THEYRE CHILLED JMUST HAVE A HABIT OF DYING FOR NO REASON

  2. I think thats inough fishies in your tank so if I were u I would not put anymore fish in there.

  3. They should be fine with peaceful fish like tetras.  They will, however, grow to be much bigger than the rest of the fish in your tank, so if you're worried about all of your fish looking similar in size, I would go with dwarf gouramis.  They're really pretty and colorful, but only get to be about 2 1/2 inches, rather than 5 or 6.

You could probably get 5 dwarfs, but I would ony recommend 2 pearls.

    Good luck!  :)
