I'm having a treatment of acupuncture and Chinese herbs for my problems of anxiety. This is my second week and everything appears to be improving slowly. I would like to know any suggestion or experience about this kind of treatments since I'm a bit skeptical about this things.

  1. Supported. Since everything is improving. Many tried acupuncture and C herbs to alleviate the harsh effect of Western medicine. It is a support or booster system. Nevertheless, the human body tends to get level of any inductive system over time; and the  acu.effect reduces with it. Chinese herbs run on long term build-up and adjustment; a single dose is insufficient.Try to use your mental power or sport activity to adapt your body to lessen stress and anxiety for a long run.

  2. I'm a Lic. Massage Therapist, and yes it is good for you, but like the first guy said massage is also very good for your mind, body, and spirit. google it and you will see the wide range of benifits. good luck.

  3. I suppose everyone's different.  The idea of some quack envisioning imaginary meridians all over my body and then sticking sharp objects in them tends to make me a little more anxious than I was before.

  4. what you are doing is good and i recommend this to my patients as well. but one thing that has never failed me is recommending massage therapy. alot of people only think of it for muscular reasons, but its affect on stress and anxiety is overwhelming. hope it helps
