  1. Right there is the answer that makes them a citizen as well as their parent. There is a law on the books to this effect and with a bit of extension it can cover that.

  2. they have no direct route to citizenship.  if they are here illegally, even if they were brought here as a child, they must return to their country of citizenship to apply through the proper channels.  its very sad that illegal immigrants bring their children here, they have no chance without going back.

  3. There is no way for an illegal alien to change status and get legalized, not even marriage.

Any illegal alien who was smuggled in by his/her parents: if they voluntarily return to their home country before they turn 18 (or as soon as they drop out or graduate from high school), and remain in their own country for at least a year, they may apply for immigration if they qualify and their parents' illegal actions will not be held against them. If they remain after they turn 18, they are then adults and choose to continue violating the law.  Therefore the entire time they have been in the US illegally counts against them in calculating the length of time they are barred.

  4. Unfortunately, children who were brought to the US illegally are still illigal aliens in the eyes of immigration. They only have their parents to blame for this because they lived in a country all of their lives thinking they are legally entitled to the things regular citizens are entitled to.

If they marry a US citizen, it will not make a difference. From what I've witnessed in the past, immigration usually grants children who are here illegally an extended stay until they finish school. Once they are done, they must travel home immediately.

It's unfortunate but this is often the case with many illegal immigrants.

  5. The cost of the illegal aliens is very high.  The problem with all of this... ALL of this is, the illegal aliens used fake I.D.s.  So for the welfare access, they used a fake I.D. with a good Social Security Number, (maybe yours and do you understand what happened to your credit rating?).  Those children who are here illegally and knew their parents were using fake I.D.s are fully complicit in the crime.  I flatly don't have any idea what where all of this will go, but the children of illegal aliens are going to have to leave in order to get this mess straightened out.

If Obama or McCain says.. we are better than this.. and then allows them to stay, we don't have any idea what is what.  Not a prayer of finding out either, and Uncle Sam is NOT stepping forward and telling us they will repair the damage.  In effect, with McCain's or Obama's proposal, if you were swindled, it is on you, and if you are swindled after the amnesty, it is still on you.  Those Mexican I.D.s are one ugly things in our society.

Check your SS numbers or kiss your booty goodbye.

  6. They are still here illegally.  Marrying a citizen doesn't change that.

They have no one to blame, except their parents.

And once they turned 18, they became responsible for their own choices as adults.  So if they chose to remain here illegally once they became adults, then they have no one to blame but themselves.

They are now responsible for their own actions.

  7. They are still illegal.
