What about an....Oyster?

Hi, I'm 17. I already have an Oyster card (for adult, I guess, because there's no photo on it), which was bought by a friend of mine last year. I could easily top up and use it, but I've read that fares are cheaper with an Oyster Phtoocard for 16+. Now I'd like to ask: is it worth buying it online? (You have to fill a form, send a digital photo, preorder it with 3£ credit and draw that at aTravel Information Centre). What should I do? Keep the adult Oyster card (an pay a little more) or order the Oyster Photocard for 16+?

Depends how long you'll be under 18 for.

If it's close to a year, yes.

Just use the oyster, you got it already.

I don't think it that much different in price.
