  11. it is a sport between 2 sides. One team bats and the other bowls .The bowling team has to bowl the bowl and hit the stumps with the ball .Th batting team has to hit the ball and score runs at any 1 time there is 2 batsmen and when the ball is hit they run. If the batsmen hits the ball over the boundary rope with it bouncing it is 4 runs .If it passes without it bouncing it is  runs. There are 10 ways a batsman can be given out.The main ones are LBW,bowled, Caught, Stumped and run out.

A test match usually has 4 innings (each team  bats twice and bowls twice). In ODI (one-day-international) each team bowls a certain amount of overs.
