My cat don't eat table food or anything but cat food.. i don't know if that's wrong or something because i give him treats or try to give him hot dog pieces and he licks them and leaves it there.. his teeth are yellowish and his gums look pale and I'm worried because he don't even chew his food and he just swallows it i give him big cat foods and he just swallows and acts like he cant chew it up.. whats wrong?

  1. Please try giving your cat nothing but dry cat food for a while...He won't starve, I promise.. :-)

If after about a week, he refuses to eat the hard food (I suspect you've spoiled him), then a trip to the vet is in order...

Perfectly healthy cats can still have pariodontal desease..If you feed them mostly soft foods, the tarter on their teeth will become a major problem and then lead to gum desease and tooth decay...

Please get tough on this...Feed only hard food and if the condition doesn't get any better, you really need to see the vet for a thorough tooth cleaning...Your cat needs his teeth to live a long life...This is important, o.k. ?
