What about off colored white??

The dress I bought for my brother in laws wedding is more of an off color of white...and it has silver sparkles on the bottom of the dress...is that okay to wear to a wedding...I heard that you are not suppose to wear white to a wedding...what do you think??

A lot of people do still wear white...touch it up with a colored belt or a colorful cover for the top of it and there should be nothing wrong with it.

If everyone else wears pink, purple, black, etc. and you and the bride are wearing white, wouldn't you feel uncomfortable? It's bad luck for the bride and depending on the relationship b/w you two, it might make her despise you!

I would wear another dress.  It is considered bad form for a guest to wear white at a wedding; it looks like you are trying to upstage the bride.

It's tradition not to wear white to someone else's wedding because it competes with the bride. However, I wouldn't worry. This is the 21st century the love of God!
